"Graves Mountain" (VA)

the mountains seem
to echo back,
the whispers i give
up.

to see the fog hug
the mountain,

to see the mist
moisten the
trail,

to see the sun
chase the
shadows...

such is the way
of the
wanderer.

i give to this trail
my life and ask
only an exit in
return.

we began
equal-

i give much to
its
end.

*for those who know me- this was a 10 mile hike with LOTS of climbing...i was determined to do it even though the management made me sign a paper that they were not responsible for my hike saftey due to my -so called -handicap.(will work on that very soon, damn them) So- another trail whooped by da dave*

was all i could do to carry my sorry ass up da mountain, sweet chele,...i took pictures with my eyes and wrote some stuff for later.(one of which is attached to this begining)
